GARDEN IDEAS:Landscape Stones: The Stonework in this Garden Give it a Unique Finish

The concept of this garden was from a lady who loved horses and wanted her garden to reflect that. So we created a patio for her that was in the shape of a horse shoe! We used landscape stones to make a big impact.

It is like a horseshoe footprint where the lawn is and it is like the back of a horseshoe in the wall at the back of another little circle patio.

The patio is all natural granite and it will wear the test of time whereas reconstituted granite is inclined to get dirty over time.

We have nice trees, tall silver birches trees and nice low buxus hedging in a ball shape.

The stones around the edge of the horse shoe are all granite cobble to get the shape.

This garden is at the back of typical sized house in an estate and it is something most home owners in Ireland could get done.

This garden is around 30 square metres in size. It took around 6 days to build and cost 5,500 euro.
